The Idea

1410 AH

In gratitude for the great efforts made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him and his patronage - during his assumption of the Emirate of Riyadh, which made our capital, Riyadh, superior to its counterparts from global capitals, many of the people of Riyadh were eager to present a touch of loyalty and appreciation to their beloved prince.

Also, His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al Saud had the honor of taking the initiative to put forward the idea of the project and to participate in the implementation and management work

The King Salman Social Center project was established in gratitude and loyalty to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has followed the implementation stages of the project since the foundation stone was laid. The project also received great support from the late Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - and from the notables of the city of Riyadh and businessmen.

Official Opening

1417 AH

(The Center) was officially inaugurated in honor of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Ministry and Minister of Defense and Aviation and in the presence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect him - then Prince of Riyadh and His Eminence Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz, may God have mercy on him The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom. Their Highnesses, Princes, Excellencies, and Happiness

With the help of God, then thanks to the continuous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the efforts of those who succeeded in managing it, led by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Naim, who chaired the Board of Directors for several successive terms, the Center began to provide its community services.

The Stages of Qualitative and Quantitative Growth

1420 AH

The Center has had a comparative advantage in providing health, sports, social and cultural care services under one service umbrella

Today, according to the testimony of everyone who visited it, the Center is considered a prestigious social edifice and a social and cultural landmark that is referred to as one of the largest social centers in the Middle East

Opening of Oasis Healthcare Hospital

1430 AH

The Center opened (Riyadh Oasis Hospital for Health Care) with the latest medical technology dedicated to long-term health care as one of the investment projects to support the financial sustainability of the center in partnership with the private sector and aims to contribute to alleviating the burden on government hospitals.

Development and Expansion Project First Phase

1437 AH

Facilities and buildings for women's services have been developed to integrate with basic services, bringing the total area of women's services to ten times the area of establishment due to the increasing demand and to ensure the comprehensiveness of services provided to the needs of women and children

Aligning the strategic plan with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030

1438 AH

Immediately after the launch of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the Center's Board of Directors took the initiative to work on harmonizing the work, activities and services of the Center with the aspirations of the vision

For this purpose, the Center established a strategic transformation office that works under the direct supervision of His Highness the Chairman of the Board of Directors, in order to ensure that we follow the approach of the National Transformation Plan, and to play the role assigned to (the Center) as one of the most prominent civil sectors in the country

The most prominent objectives of the Center coincide with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan, and are summarized in two arms of the Center's services:

The Center was able to deliver its multiple services to about (2,000,000) two million beneficiaries, achieving four times the number of beneficiaries within a short period of opening the first phase of the expansion and development stages, in addition to approximately (1,000,000) million beneficiaries, bringing the total to (3,000,000) beneficiaries. and beneficiary.

The tender continues with the aim of (the Center) to bring the number of beneficiaries of both sexes to (10,000,000) ten million with the completion of expansion and development work by 2030
